Liz Earle Cleanse And Polish
We all desire perfect, flawless skin don’t we? I know I certainly do, after all we are bombarded with images of models and celebs with perfect skin every time we pick up a girly magazine or see them on TV. Sometimes, as in my case, looking into the mirror is a bit of a reality check – fine lines here and hormonal outbreaks there. As a result, I’m always on the lookout for that breakthrough beauty product, one that will work wonders for my skin and really help me to feel beautiful and confident again.
I’m so thrilled that I discovered Liz Earle cleanse and polish as it has really helped my skin to regain softness and radiance.
I first came across Liz Earle cleanse and polish when looking to change the brand of moisturiser that I was using. I knew that I wanted products that were effective but gentle on the skin and, most importantly to me, made from natural ingredients. The Liz Earle range ticked all of those boxes and it also contains no animal extracts, is not tested on animals and is made in Great Britain, which to me is a real bonus as it means that I am supporting a fantastic British Brand. Liz Earle cleanse and polish contains eucalyptus oil, rosemary and cocoa butter. All of the ingredients play their part in helping to soften and brighten the skin.
Liz Earle Cleanse and polish is really easy to use and fitted into my regular regime of ‘cleanse, tone and moisturise’. I use it both in the morning and at night, in the morning it acts as a cleansing wash. I just squeeze a reasonable amount out from the pump and gently smooth it across my forehead, eyes, cheeks, nose and chin. I take a couple of minutes to massage it in as this helps to boost the circulation in the skin and makes me feel ready to face the day (no pun intended!). Next, I get the pure muslin cloth that comes with cleanse and polish, wet it under warm water and wring it out. Then I carefully wipe the cream off my face using the cloth. This is the really clever bit because the muslin cloth gives the face a slight exfoliation. It helps to remove the dead skin cells that have built up over night (yuck!) and the result is that my skin looks and feels brighter. The finishing touch is to splash my face with cool water and I feel really refreshed and invigorated. When I use Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish at night time, it acts as a make up remover. I use it in the same way as the morning, but I do find that my muslin cloths gets a bit messy because of my mascara and eye shadow so I always wash them every couple of days. The cream feels light and silky on the skin and yet is thick enough to remove the most stubborn make up.
What more can I say about this gem of a product? Well, it won’t surprise you to hear that Liz Earle cleanse and polish has won a whole host of awards including Best Cleanser in the Sunday Times Style Beauty Awards 2012 and Most Revolutionary Beauty Product of Last 20 years in the CEW UK Awards 2012. It is an amazingly simple product that feels like an indulgent treat for your skin and, most importantly, it makes your skin look and feel smoother, softer and more radiant.
